The biggest tech show in the world is coming to an end, and it’s been a tough one. Very much. But it is not without its benefits. Maybe you should sit in and watch the first CES press event or you’re getting a fancy eye treatment that includes cooling plates and create images that will haunt you for the rest of your career? Or maybe you’re running away from violence and… mushrooms in deep experience. (Work hard, play hard.)
It’s not just laptops and TVs – either he has a broken cover. And stay tuned: We’re picking our picks for the Best of CES — what’s your pick? (And why not ?)

Big tech news you missed
This week, Delta was the first company to hold a CES press conference, or as the emcee called it, “the show,” at the Sphere in Las Vegas. You’ve probably heard of high-end venues, which often host serious concerts rather than commercial events. The “multi-sensory experience” consists of indoor and outdoor scenes created with LED displays and providing 4D effects such as wind and smells. And Delta put all of that to use. Apple, Google, Sony and all of you, it’s time to step up your game.
While many of the most important announcements at CES won’t arrive until late 2025, there are a few cool products you can pre-order. Like Anker a four-port charger, which can output 140W and has its own top/bottom ports, making it less likely to fall into your power supply. The first Segway they’re also available for pre-order if you’re feeling splurge-y, though exact prices remain a secret.
Astrohaus has been making “distraction-free writing instruments” under the Freewrite name for nearly a decade. Until now, they were stand-alone devices for writing notes, but the Freewrite Wordrunner is a keyboard designed specifically with writers in mind. The operating line has been replaced by the usual keys, which include find and change, change and repeat, paragraph up and down and back, forward and return keys. The device will launch with early bird pricing on Kickstarter in February, but we don’t know the price yet.
