James Woods posts video of fire engulfing neighbor’s house: ‘Leaving’



Actor James Woods posted a video of a fire that engulfed his neighbor’s house Pacific Palisadesan epicenter of one of three wildfires ravaging the Los Angeles area.

The Emmy Award-winning actor shared the video on Tuesday on social platform X with the title “Marchant”. In the video, Woods said he was preparing to evacuate the area.

The second fire, the Eaton Fire, also started Tuesday, prompting evacuation orders and forcing all schools in the Pasadena Unified School District to close Wednesday. The Hurst fire, which started Tuesday night, is expanding with strong winds and has burned at least 500 acres, according to CalFire.

The Tyler fire started Wednesday morning.

The cause of the fires is under investigation, according to CalFire. In response, California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) declared a state of emergency while the White House directed federal resources to help local officials.
