The Afela 1 is getting some great time today at CES. Even though it was prominently featured at Sony’s press conference on Monday night, it had to share a spot there with other Sony highlights (which, surprisingly, were mostly anime, TV and movies and video production technology equipment rather than electronics). Currently, it is on the cusp of a dedication ceremony from Sony Honda Mobility, a partnership between the two Japanese concerns behind Afeela.

What to expect at the Afeela CES 2025 press conference

We know more about the Afeela 1 than we did 24 hours ago, thanks to Sony’s press release. The Afeela 1 Origin and Afeela 1 Signature are priced at $89,900 and $109,900 respectively. California customers are now closed save the Signature icon for a refundable fee of $200 and first deliveries are scheduled for mid-2026. The Origin variant is expected to arrive the following year. Both models offer three years of service including Level 2+ driver assistance, Afeela Personal Agent and a range of entertainment options.

For the Afeela keynote, we should learn more about the Afeela 1. Expect a detailed look at the final version of the EV, which is full of tech.
