Delta SkyMiles members can now earn more on rides with Uber, ending its partnership with Lyft

Uber announced at CES 2025 a special multi-year partnership with Delta Air Lines that allows SkyMiles members to earn more when they ride with Uber or order delivery through Uber Eats in the United States. This Agreement constitutes the termination of Delta’s partnership with Lyft.

The Uber partnership will begin in the spring, giving Uber customers access to features such as “Uber’s premium pickup and drop off experience at Delta hubs,” according to a statement from the company. When asked what that meant, an Uber spokesperson declined to elaborate.

Lyft and Delta formed its partnership in 2018; will expire on April 7, 2025.
