Garnacho may be going through a bit of a rough patch of form, but MUFC should perhaps rest before making any risky decisions about his future.
The Red Devils may regret overreacting to Garnacho’s temporary outing, as he still looks like a player who could certainly have a great career at the highest level.
United won’t want too many travelers in this struggling squad, so they may have to be decisive with anyone who isn’t pulling their weight.
But at the same time, there are some talents worth nurturing and Garnacho certainly seems like a guy he could use a little more patience with.
Ultimately, that will likely be down to new manager Ruben Amorim, who will also have his own specific tactical ideas that Garnacho may not fit into.
The Portuguese tactician tends to play 3-4-3, and Garnacho is neither a wing-back nor a wide forward, so it may not work in the long term.
