Sony CEO Hiroki Totoki and Yasuhide Mizuno, CEO of Sony Honda Mobility announced that the Afeela electric car with PlayStation 5 is ready for pre-registration.
There are two models coming in 2026, and the name the company has for these versions is Afeela 1 Origin ($89,900) and Afeela 1 Signature ($102,900). They showed the driver’s view of the windshield, including a view of the road, the direction of travel, and a high-level map view of the entire vehicle.
Afela 1 is close to the final design of the Sony Honda Mobility venture to create an EV for 2026. It has a single tap AD / ADAS, intelligent driving. It has TOPS 800 computer electronics. Afeela communicates with you quickly with driving advice and uses the Unreal Engine for the ADAS view, map and home UI.
