Lenovo’s Latest Laptop Has a Rolling OLED Screen

But if you can’t beat them, join them. This is what Lenovo did with the Legion Go S. This is not a replacement Legion Go-the company revealed the prototype Legion Go 2 with minor changes – but it is another version that comes in two versions: Windows or SteamOS. This makes it the first licensed game powered by SteamOS. Unfortunately, there’s no dual-boot option, you have to choose your preferred operating system at checkout, although you can run some games on SteamOS, such as the Epic Games Store.

With SteamOS, you can take advantage of cloud storage, so you can stop playing on your desktop or laptop and move to Legion Go S without losing progress. You can also transfer games from your PC to the console if you need them more (as long as your internet connection is good).

Outside of software, the Legion Go S models have the same hardware. Powered by AMD’s Ryzen Z2 Go or Ryzen Z1 Extreme, it sports an 8-inch 1,920 X 1,200-pixel resolution LCD 120-Hz refresh rate. The smaller and slimmer screen on the original Legion Go offers better battery life, although it also helps the battery last longer at 55.5 watt hours. It doesn’t have removable controls, although you can use the two USB-C ports to connect a monitor for desktop viewing, and there’s a MicroSD card slot for additional storage.

The Windows-powered Legion Go S starts at $730 and will arrive this month, though there will be other variants with new chipsets coming later in May, with prices starting at $600. The SteamOS version starts at $500 and launches in May.

Monitor Speakers and Audio Individually

Lenovo has a lot of new stuff for CES, but the last gizmo that stood out to me is the ThinkCentre M90a Pro Gen 6. computer all in one. It doesn’t sound very exciting (everything is rare), but Lenovo has a new technology called “Lenovo Focus Sound” born in this machine. It’s like a movie projected onto a screen that feeds you audio directly—using machine learning and a connected camera, it ensures that only you can hear the audio from the monitor so that your friends nearby won’t hear your presence. secretly to catch Love Island.

It sounds strange—almost like someone whispering in your ear—but it works! I was standing in front of the computer listening to the show’s music, and the people around me couldn’t hear anything. I moved a little to the right, and the sound disappeared. It seems useful for the office, but then again, headphones already exist. However, this technology is very good, even if it seems to be non-invasive. The M90a Pro Gen 6 goes on sale this quarter and starts at $2,539.
