Heart Eyes Are Coming To Crush Valentine’s Day


Nothing pleases a madman more than a holiday– it all started with Black Christmas and Halloweenand now there’s a horror movie to go with it almost every important calendar pageincluding recent favorites of Thank youHappy Pilgrim and Art the Clown’s Santa mayhem in Risk factors 3. Valentine’s Day has been a favorite on this list, but you don’t have to wait for the scares another one My Bloody Valentine revise. Eyes of the Heart it’s close!

Directed by Josh Ruben (Werewolves inside)and written by Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day, Freaky)Michael Kennedy (It’s a Weird, Stupid Knife)and Phillip Murphy, Eyes of the Heart it’s about a killer whose mask looks like you-know-emoji, and who fights couples during you-know-the-moments.

As you can tell from those behind the camera—there will be plenty of physicality, but you can count on some humor, too. Check out the first trailer here:

Because yes, this is a pair of 1990’s horror fighters you see there: Jordana Brewster, who made her big show in 1998’s. Faculty before entering Fast and Furious creation (he was also in 2006’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning), and Devon Sawa, who was already an icon of the genre. Destination and Idle Hands (and Casper!) before turning on its latest mode Chucky TV series.

Elsewhere in the cast is a young but already well-known favorite: Mason Gooding (who survived the most recent two. Shouting movies) and Olivia Holt (1980s period drama Absolutely Killer). There also seems to be some satisfying stabbing through doors and throat piercings… plus some late night favorites gone horribly wrong (carousel, drive-in movie).
