Grimm: The movie

Deadline reports Peacock is developing a movie reboot based on the 2011 NBC series Grimm from the author Josh Berman and series creators David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf. Although details of the plot are not available, the film “believes it has a connection with fans but can be easily reached by new viewers who are not familiar with the original story while introducing new stories and characters.” If successful, the next film could start a new franchise.

Thunder*

Sebastian Stan compared Thunderstorms*to The Breakfast Club in a recent interview with Deadline.

(Thunder* and) its object. I don’t think you can compare it to the latest Marvel movie, and that’s because of the cast and the actors. I couldn’t have had a better time than I had with David Harbour, Florence Pugh, Wyatt Russell, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. I mean, every one of these people is funny, they’re generous, so I think a lot of it is meant to go into the movie, and I’m glad people are going to see it. It’s a little like The Breakfast Club. It has its own vibe, and it’s funny, and it’s real, and we did real stunts, like when you watch the car explode, and the car explodes. It’s not CGI. Marvel really wanted this to be their own- there were a lot of things in the movie that actually happened, and I think that goes a long way, because people are just smart. I think just the audience, they know.
