Anker’s Solar-Powered Cooler Is a Bonafide Refrigerator on Wheels

I’m a big believer in bringing everything you need to a party. This includes when the party is held outside, in the middle of the forest, without a place to keep it nearby. And look, I understand trying to leave the group because of your craziness, but how can you keep the vibes going if you don’t have a low battery?

Enter Anker’s new EverFrost 2 Electric Cooler and Solix Solar Umbrella, starting this week at CES 2025. The essentials of the outdoor cooler are set together with a 140W Display with charger and a 25,000mAh power bank with a return cable. However, the cold and the umbrellas caught our attention the most. The whole purpose of these devices is to give you power when you’re out and about without having to remember to bring extras. Also, really cool cold food, and it is controlled remotely so you can monitor the temperature of drinks and food from a distance. ,

The EverFrost 2 Electric Cooler comes in 23L, 40L, and 58L sizes, with the larger models making the most of all three. The 58L model has two separate parts that destroy the refrigerator on wheels; one side freezes while the other keeps things cool. Naturally, both are controlled by the program. The electric cooler also includes a folding tray with a handle and IPX3 waterproofing.

Two removable batteries power each cooler, which Anker says can cool for up to 104 hours with both packs at once. Each battery doubles as a power bank with USB-C and USB-A ports if you need to charge the phone or power up the power cord. The cooler has a 100W solar charger, a car socket, and USB-C for charging. The 40L and 58L will be available in February, with a smaller variant to be launched later in the year.

The Anker Solix Solar Umbrella isn’t as cool as it is cool. It won’t refresh you, but it can create a shadow in the middle of an empty space by being an umbrella. At least, the Solar Umbrella has a power output of 100W through both XT-60 and USB-C ports, so you can connect various things to it to keep it connected. The umbrella is IP67 waterproof and will be available in hot weather. There are no prices available for coolers or umbrellas yet.
