Samsung Frame screens are one of the best solutions available for creating a large display to blend into your home. At CES 2025, the company is expanding its lineup with the Frame Pro, a high-end TV model that includes Samsung’s most advanced Neo QLED panel. The catch is that we still don’t know if Samsung is using a 4K or 8K panel yet, a choice that will have a big impact on the amount of Frame Pro when it launches (Samsung has not yet given a price or a release date. , in true CES fashion).
In addition to the panel, Frame Pro also uses the Samsung Wireless One Connect box, which allows you to send content from consoles or set-top boxes to the TV without having to connect things directly. Instead, you plug in the Wireless One Connect and it’ll beam things to the TV, which means you can create a much cleaner, cable-free experience that feels very useful with a set like the Frame.
It also uses Samsung’s NQ4 Gen3 AI processor, an update on the second generation that Samsung used in its sets last year. As is often the case, we don’t know what this does to the set, but given the amount of pixels a modern TV needs to push, annual updates make sense. The NQ4 also gives the idea that this could be a 4K instead of an 8K group, as Samsung’s recently announced Neo QLED 8K QN990F TV uses an NQ8 processor – maybe 4 or 8 is compatible with the TV concept. Either way, we’ll know more soon.
For those who haven’t seen Frame before, it’s a TV designed to be mounted on a wall, complete with a frame that’s reminiscent of something you’d find in an art gallery instead of a living room. When you turn it off, you can choose to display a professional picture from Samsung’s curated lineup, and the screen has an anti-glare coating that goes a long way to making it feel like another big TV set. to the wall.
As usual, Samsung has a CES presentation tonight where we will see the Frame Pro. and other new Samsung TVs in front of you – if we find out more about Frame Pro, we will update this.
