Samsung is launching 2025 with a series of new AI-powered videos. At CES 2025, Samsung unveiled the Neo QLED 8K QN990F and QN900F, along with the Neo QLED 4K QN90F, QN80F and QN70F. The TVs come with glare-free technology and a host of AI features powered by Samsung Vision AI.
The Neo QLED 8K QN990F is Samsung’s top-of-the-line model and features ultra-thin, ultra-low power and an NQ8 AI Gen3 processor. Its AI capabilities include upscaling to 8K, HDR image processing, adaptive audio, color enhancement and AI Mode, which automatically enhances image and sound based on what’s on the screen. This represents an update on Samsung’s existing AI efforts.
In keeping with the minimalist aesthetic, Samsung is also launching the QN990F Wireless One Connect Box, allowing users to keep their TV settings wireless. This is similar to and it is a small device that removes loose material. Samsung says the Wireless One Connect Box works at a distance of up to 10 meters, although there are some obstacles in its transmission path.
Meanwhile, Samsung’s QLED 4K lineup features the NQ4 AI Gen3 processor, 4K AI Upscaling Pro, a sharper picture quality and 165Hz refresh rate. The QN80F has a 100-inch channel, while the QN90F comes in 115 inches.
Samsung’s AI ambitions cover all of its 2025 TVs, with Vision AI delivering new features and optimizations across the board. Click to Search can identify people, places and things on the computer and then notify you of these things in real time. Identify actors, pieces of clothing or scenes, for example. Likewise, Samsung’s new Food capability can recognize grub on your TV and provide the right recipes. This can also scan the contents of your connected Samsung fridge and create shopping lists, or prompt you to order shopping or TV discounts using other apps.
Samsung AI Home Security turns your TV into a home surveillance system. It supports the built-in microphone and cameras connected to your Samsung TV, and can detect unusual voices and movements. It then delivers notifications to your phone or directly to your TV. Live Translate provides small translations in real-time, and Generative Wallpaper allows users to create custom wallpapers.
In the OLED world, Samsung is introducing the S95F, S90F and S85F. As the flagship of the line, the S95F includes the NQ4 AI Gen3 processor, lightless technology, 165Hz refresh rate and a brighter display than before.
There is also The Frame Pro, the most unique TV we have a different story all about its innovations.
As usual, Samsung plans to reveal more information about the prices and availability of its new devices at CES 2025.
