LG has revealed its 2025 OLED evo TV series and is showing them at CES this year, along with other products. fun things at home. The new models are powered by the latest α (Alpha) 11 AI Gen2 processor, with advanced algorithms that give the TVs the ability to sharpen images at low and low resolution. LG says these new TVs are also the first on the market with 4K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, as confirmed by NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium. This helps the model to provide a stutter-free game with minimal lag.
The company has upgraded its Brightness Booster Ultimate technology for the new OLED TVs, which means they can be three times brighter than conventional OLED models. For black images, LG promises “the highest black levels,” as these models have received UL Solutions’ “Perfect Black” and “Perfect Color” certification. LG was the first in the market to get the Perfect Black certification in 2022, ensuring that their TV viewers can experience true black when the picture on the screen calls for it.
LG’s fast brightness and standard color temperature settings help viewers enjoy what their TV has to offer as soon as they’re turned on. And if they choose to watch a video, the Filmmaker Mode with Ambient Light Compensation will start to adjust the image depending on the lighting environment to stay true to how the filmmaker wants viewers to watch their video.
When it comes to audio, the TVs come with AI Sound Pro which can output 11.1.2 surround sound. Currently, the AI Remote models can recognize individual voices in the matching results. Viewers can also use AI Search powered by Microsoft Copilot to understand the questions being discussed and “uncover the hidden intentions of users.”
One of LG’s new OLED TVs is the latest M5 series, which is the successor to its previous M-series models. wireless transmission video and audio. The latest M5 cameras can transmit audio and video wirelessly up to 144Hz without loss of image and color. Although they have a slightly lower resolution than the other models on the list, the M-series wireless TVs also promise “tear-free, stutter-free gaming.” LG has been showing off this technology for a few years now, but they are bringing it to more and more TVs in their lineup recently. Back in December, LG announced its new, very affordable QNED TVs would work with the Zero Connect Box, for example. Previously, it was available in the OLED M range but in sizes of 77 inches and up.
