Delivery of the present is a two-player co-op experience about getting into the holiday spirit with your friend. In the title, two players either become Santa Claus or his Reindeer, where the former must deliver the presents, while the latter pulls the sleigh. Of course, this requires teamwork and precision from both players, as their job is to save Christmas by spreading the presents.
Here’s a quick overview of what Present Delivery is and how to get started with it.
Getting started in Present Delivery
Review
As established, Present Delivery is about any Santa Claus or his Reindeer, and navigating the obstacle course. These roles are led by one player each; both must work in tandem to pave the way forward and reach the end. The player who takes on the role of Santa must throw gifts using Left mouse buttonwhile the other is in charge of pulling the sled.
As they continue to navigate the course, they will encounter dangerous turns and obstacles that they must avoid in order to reach the end. Many roads are also blocked, which Santa Claus can clear by giving gifts to everyone around.
Make it to the end of the game to spread joy in the world and give every character in the game world something to be happy about.
Throw a gift: Left mouse button (exclusively for Santa Claus)
Game mechanics
Festive co-op experience for two players: In the game, you have to join forces with another player to save Christmas, navigating the world and reaching the end by gifting everyone in the game world. Players can manually choose which role to choose in the hub world; both roles are marked with the corresponding icon. The idea is to get to the next checkpoint while avoiding dangerous drops along the way.
World navigation: Getting through the world depends on the Reindeer having to use their motion controls to pull the sled to safety. If the sled falls, both players fall as well, causing an accidental death and returning to the checkpoint. The player who takes on the role of Santa Claus can throw gift boxes at the inhabitants of the world to open closed doors and raise bridges.
Control points: From time to time you will pass checkpoints in the game that preserve your progress and act as safety nets for your journey ahead. These points are where you will respawn if you happen to die at any point. Go from one checkpoint to another to reach the end of the game and track your progress.
sled: You can buy different types of sleds from above ground. They can also be premium or randomly unlocked via spins, making them a combination of free and paid features. Different sleds do not change the vehicle’s stats; instead, they’re purely cosmetic, making them the unlockables to aim for.
spins: Spins can be performed above ground to win various prizes. You can perform one free spin from time to time and continuous spin requires you to spend Robux. Turns can give free masks, consumables like C4 and rocket launchers and Revives.
