My days are usually Start with me getting up 10 minutes before work, drinking an energy drink, getting on my laptop, then getting a headache around 3pm when I realize I haven’t eaten anything nutritious object). Between my ADHD hyperfocus and the simultaneous blindness of ADHD, I tend to eat like a toddler and accidentally let things go to waste due to my lack of attention. Sometimes I feel like a Sim from The Sims 4wandering aimlessly around my house searching somethingnot realizing that all my Needs bars are flashing red. When I remember to eat, I am a grazer, and I can eat charcuterie or adult food for 90 percent of my meals. I love containers. I love finger foods. I am a foodie I can’t they don’t like to think too much about their next meal.
Garden cup. Gardencup is the answer.
Gardencup is food subscription service that delivers fresh produce, salads, dishes, soups, produce, and snacks to your front door. And it makes me a little angry that I tried because now I don’t think I can get it.
Gardencup is a little different from other popular food services because you can change your orders every week. Choose six or nine packs, create your own pack (there are vegetarian and vegan options), and choose your shipping options. All orders vary by item. Protein-rich salads cost $12, while snacks and entrees cost between $6 and $9. You can join the Gardenclub after placing at least 5 orders to get cash back. You can stop or skip automatic transmissions and cancel your transmission easily in the settings in your account.
Every jar is full of goodness. Salads are packed with clever fillings, with flavors and textures on the bottom and fresh greens on top. Just shake them when you’re ready to eat and you’ll have a dressed, fresh salad in no time. They also pack a punch – sometimes I have to eat several forkfuls of unpeeled spinach just to have enough room inside the jar to shake properly. Yes, you can just throw it all in a bowl. Products like Producecups—sliced pineapple or apples with almond butter, carrots and celery sticks with hummus—or spreads like tuna salad, just dig it. (Note that you must bring your own snacks.
The biggest thing I love about Gardencup is how easy it makes my life. I already think about money, doctor’s appointments, going to the gym, growing a job, staying with my friends, my god-forsaken emails, the state of the world, and if I or I can pull cool toned purple lips. (I can’t.) As much as I love good food, the last thing I want to think about is eating breakfast three times a day. Gardencup lets me go on autopilot for a while. When I reach into my fridge, I grab a cup of Something, and I eat it knowing it’s nutritious and ultimately delicious. Sometimes the food is a little bland. My Chicken Soup would have benefited from some black pepper, and I would have added my dressing to the salad if I wasn’t testing them. But exchange is not a problem for me and my life. ‘It is better to have a cup of food and need to add to your clothes than not to have a cup of food at all. And these weeks eating well easily and often with the help of Gardencup means that cooking or going out for dinner feels like a luxury and less like another item on my list.
