Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush is having the season of his life in the Bundesliga and that has sparked interest from Arsenal and Liverpool.

The Egyptian scored 13 goals and registered 7 assists in the Bundesliga this season.

Due to the great form of the 25-year-old striker, his team is currently third in the Bundesliga, behind Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen.

According to GiveMeSportMikel Arteta’s side have the chance to take the lead against Liverpool in the race to sign Marmoush as the Reds are currently more focused on resolving the contract of their star striker Mohamed Salah.

According to the report, the German club will demand £50m for their striker, but they have no intention of letting Marmoush leave them mid-season.

Any move by the Bundesliga star will have to wait until the summer transfer window.

Liverpool have long been linked with Marmoush and potentially as a replacement for Salah, but the 32-year-old is showing no signs of stopping anytime soon and the Reds are keen to keep him at the club. .

Salah is currently having the best season of his career, he has already scored 17 goals in the Premier League this season with 13 assists.

In just 18 Premier League games, the Liverpool star, who has a request to sign a new contract at Anfieldhe has been involved in 30 goals and his good form has made the Reds favorites to win the Premier League title this season.

As for Marmoush, although the Bundesliga side have no intention of letting the player leave the club anytime soon, an offer from a major Premier League team like Arsenal or Liverpool could turn the player’s head and he could demand a move away from the German club.

Marmoush still has two-and-a-half years left on his current contract, but a move to one of the Premier League giants would not only give him the chance to fight for silverware, but would also significantly increase his wages.

With Liverpool having other priorities at the moment, Arsenal have the opportunity to bring Marmoush to the Emirates Stadium and make him part of their already talented attack.
