The new year has begun, and Lego is celebrating in style with a big bang the last few months of silence of the year from the window and a big loads of new sets from January 1. Time to put aside the shiny stacks of plastic bricks you just got for Christmas to look for the next one, even new and shiny plastic bricks on the way this month: from big and small groups to Marvel, DC, Star Warsand many more.
January is traditionally one of the biggest months of the Lego calendar year in terms of the number of new sets being released, whether it’s across brick-and-mortar lines like City, Creator, Dreamzzz, Baby Monkieand many more, for major crossovers such as Disney, Marvel and DC Superhero lines, and of course, Lego Star Wars off the back of his anniversary blockbuster last year. But there’s a lot more this month than that, especially in the long-awaited game. Mario Kart lineand return to Lego Space classic. The series of Lego Figures aimed at adults is starting a strong year with big releases, including the latest city buildings, inspired by British architecture, and something that will delight the pleasure center of every Space lover and the return of the villainous Blacktron. But there are also other low-key sets, such as the spectacular Fountain Garden, and a historical replica of Leonardo Da Vinci’s famous flying machine design (which, of course, comes with the first Leonardo Da Vinci minifigure. ?).

The 3-in-1 Lego range always has fun attractions, but this month’s highlights for science and fantasy fans are the giant Green Dragon, which feels ripped from a Lego Castle, and the adorable Space Robot. Importantly, they can also be built to last Space Robot dog!

It’s on again, the Clone Wars! The prequel trilogy is The Clone Wars that’s the focus of this month Star Wars set, as well as several new ones The Mandalorian drops, including the latest Grogu, which comes with a hover pram to sit in.

The Super Mario the line goes to Mario Kart this month, and as always with this agreement, it is not what people expect: outside there are numbers added by computers of Super Mario set, and instead it’s built cars and rides… and nary a minifigure to be found, as usual.
Finally, the latest set of Minifigures in blind boxes brings steampunk boys, cute monsters, and speed racers to add to your shelf, with 12 new minifigures to discover. ($5 per box, available Here)
