Police are investigating a Cybertruck fire outside Trump’s Vegas hotel


The Tesla Cybertruck that caught fire Wednesday morning outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas is being investigated by authorities.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the post on social media X that the fire has been extinguished and is being investigated. The fire was reported around 8:40 am PT, according to a Las Vegas Review Journal.

An eyewitness who caught fire inside the hotel is he wrote it on Xsaid the car pulled out and then “exploded.” The video and others like it spread quickly on X.

The move comes as Tesla CEO and X owner Elon Musk maintains a close relationship with President-elect Donald Trump. Review of More about Musk’s planes showed at least 31 flights to and from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. This week, a NOW report that Musk has been living in a small house in Mar-a-Lago.
