Social media is always full of bad ideas, bad comparisons, and stupid videos. But since Elon Musk bought Twitter at the end of 2022, it seems like the internet is only going to get bigger. And to mark the destruction of the once popular social network, it is appropriate to show the worst tweets from 2024.
Some of the tweets are funny, some are weird, and some are just lies. We couldn’t share the most politically charged and negative tweets that appeared on X last year, even though tweets like that fall into the “bad” category. Musk, after all, has built a safe haven for the celebration of Nazism and tobacco movies, as anyone who has tried to use the site can attest.
To be honest, this list is far from complete. There are too many negative tweets to read. But here’s a snapshot of the worst tweets of the past year. Here’s hoping for better tweets in 2025. But we’re not working on that.

Musk ended up giving to the candidate. And that boy was named Donald J. Trump, the former president of the United States of America. The billionaire gave approx $277 million (that we know of) in the 2024 election.
In another tweet a few months later Musk denied that he was giving money to Trump. The site was taken down after Musk actually donated hundreds of millions to Trump.
