In the tech world, we like to refer to a period as the year of (insert milestone here). This past year (2024) was a very experimental year in AI and, of course, agency use cases.
As 2025 opens, VentureBeat spoke with industry experts and IT decision makers to see what the year may bring. For many, 2025 will be the year of the assistants, where all the pilot programs, experiments and innovations AI uses cases convert it into something similar to a refund.
In addition, VentureBeat experts spoke to see 2025 as the year of music AI will play a major role in business. Organizations are planning to make the management of AIs and assistants more streamlined.
Here are the topics we expect to see more of in 2025.
Swami Sivasubramanian, VP of AI and data at AWShe said that 2025 will be a year of productivity, because managers will start to pay more attention to the use of AI. Demonstrating productivity is important, and this starts with understanding how multiple agents, both internal processes and those that affect other services, can be optimized.
“In an agent worldworkflows will be rethought, and you start asking about accuracy and how to achieve five times productivity,” he said.
Palantir Chief architect Akshay Krishnaswamy acknowledged that decision makers, especially those outside the technology community, are starting to get frustrated with how AI investments will affect their businesses.
“People are very tired of sandboxing games, because they have left behind the whole journey of the last 10 years, when people tried a lot more,” Krishnaswamy said. “If you’re a senior, you’re like, ‘this has to be the year I start seeing ROI, right?'”
Going into 2025, there is a great need for a foundation to manage multiple AI agents and applications.
Chris Jangareddy, general manager at Deloittehe told VentureBeat that next year will be very exciting. Competitors will meet Results LangChain and other AI companies are looking to offer their own calling platforms.
“More tools are coming to LangChain, and we will see new players coming,” Jangareddy said. “Even before organizations think about multiagents, they’re already thinking about calling so everyone’s building that team.”
Many AI developers have turned to LangChain to start developing automotive solutions for AI applications. But LangChain is not always the best option for some companies, which is where other new methods are includedMicrosoft’s magnetics or LlamaIndex come on But in 2025, expect to see an explosion of new business models.
“Orchestration frameworks are still very experimental, with LangChain and Magentic, so you can’t be heads down to one,” said PwC global marketing technology director Matt Wood. “The use of this space is still in its early stages, and it is growing.”
AI assistants will become the biggest business trend in 2024. As organizations prepare to deploy multiple assistants in their workflows, the ability of agents to cross from one system to another becomes increasingly apparent. This is especially true when businesses are looking to demonstrate the full benefits of their agents to managers and employees.
Platforms like Bedrock for AWSand even Slack, provides connections to other agents from It’s Salesforce Agentforce or ServiceNow, making it easy to transfer content from one platform to another. However, understanding how you can support this includes and teaching musical assistants Identifying internal and external employees will be an important task.
When workflows become more complex, the latest crop of powerful artificial intelligence, such as OpenAI recently announced 03 or Google Gemini 2.0it can make the singers more powerful.
However, all this will be in vain if businesses do not enable their employees to use new AI tools in 2025.
Don Vu, chief data and analytics officer New York Lifetold VentureBeat that the final challenge for employees is often to decide on ways to improve on AI will continue next year.
“The last mile challenge is something we’ve all worked on in 2024, and understanding that change management, business planning and innovation is not as simple as creating an agent that can do all these amazing things,” Vu said. “It’s harder to change human behavior than to use a program.”
