I am a queen about putting my makeup on in weird places and time lapses. I’m really (not really) all the time doing my makeup on the go. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve furrowed my eyebrows in the seat of my friend’s Honda Civic SI, while he’s shifting gears, waiting to pass a traffic light to make sure my circles are aligned. Or how many times I’ve decided to get out, rushing to finish my winged look even though I’m in a parking garage with no lights on. In the bathroom of the club, I am the person who uses their lips as a blush while holding a tube of mascara between their teeth. At one event, I was constantly plagued by my ADHD-era skin, rushing to get ready in my tent before we left, using a mirror I had sneaked in to make sure my reflector was shining properly. I also gave a class to my WIRED friends on how to get organized in a short amount of time. I am, for better or for worse, that girl.
So it makes sense that my partying ways would lead me to test the skills of That Girl. I’m talking about burning makeup lenses. They shine on your face so you can see them from all angles (and sometimes they’re big enough to show you every pore, whether you want to see it or not). You’ll be able to use the power of Precision Vision to ensure a flawless finish, whether you’re going with heavy, smoky lines like 2016 again, or you just want to make sure your pout isn’t too much. obvious. This is what I like.

About CRI (Colour Rendering Index)
Some tinted lenses have specific CRI (Color Rendering Index) measurements. It is a method of measuring how artificial light can mimic natural light (such as daylight). The scale goes from 0 to 100, with 100 being the best indication that colors look the same as they do in sunlight. I think this is a good thing to know, but ultimately, your environment will affect your makeup more than the CRI score of the glass (if it’s listed). Placing your lighted makeup mirror in front of a window or in a well-lit area will give you a better idea of how your makeup will look in any room. After my makeup is done, I usually walk around any mirrors to make sure it looks good. So, in short, a high CRI is a good indication of the accuracy of the glass color, but it is not the only thing you should consider.
I finished checking my makeup (glittery eyeshadow, winged dress, sheer and sheer, penciled brows, heavy mascara) using the mirror twice, once in the dark, and once during the day. . I tried every light source and ran every battery once.
