Netflix’s Squid Games: Unleashed hit the #1 top free games in 24 countries

Netflix announced that Squid Games: Free mobile games have reached the No. 1 Top Free-to-Play Games in 57 countries and the ‘Top Free-to-Play Games’ in 24 countries on the App Store charts.

The Netflix video game series from Bossfight was released on December 17 just before the release of Squid Game Season 2 on December 26.

Netflix also released the first week’s previews at the same time Squid Game Part 2. Season 2 of the hit South Korean series from creator/director Hwang Dong-hyuk and actor Lee Jung-jae won. Non-English TV series with 68 million views, becoming number 1 in 92 countries and breaking the record for the most shows in its first week (previously set by Wednesday Season 1 in 2022, with 50.1 million views). The the third and final season expected in 2025.

The Netflix Original, The Squid Game: Unleashed is available for both Netflix members and non-members for free, without any ads or in-app purchases. Also the firstUnleashed players will receive in-game rewards for every episode of Season 2 they watch – the only thing Netflix can do by offering series, movies and games on the same service.
