Over the past two weeks, we here at io9 have looked back at films, demonstrationsand the 2024 games, and given ours containers on others systems that it happened this year. Mobile Suit Gundam: GQuuuuuuX
After finishing Witch from Mercury in 2023, Gundam set itself the upper bar for any show that comes after – and it’s not surprising to see one coming soon, but one that has the ability to stop the longest bars through the sky into the stars themselves. GQuuuuuuXI have more and more talent from Khara’s Hideaki AnnoYoji Enokido, Kazuya Tsurumaki, and Ikuto Yamashita on writing, direction, and mechanical design, respectively? PokemonDo you get the design? A story that, if the leak is to be believed, plays with the original controversy Gundam alone? We’re looking at something that could be one of the franchise’s best performances, let alone one of 2025’s best. —James Whitbrook
M3GAN 2.0
If Of Superman best option, consider another contender for the summer hero: an AI-style robot with a baby killer dance, killer mind, killer instinctand (probably) a killer revenge vehicle in its sequel. M3GAN 2.0 is also directed by Gerald Johnstone and written by Akeela Cooper, and brings back Gemma (Allison Williams) and Cady (Violet McGraw), plus there will be new characters. We have every reason to believe that our friends’ return will be as rough, wet, and screaming as ever—and we’re counting down the days to June 27, 2025. – Cheryl Eddy

The first The bad guy blew the audience away from the film, to confirm the film’s music work if you just come and say that it is music. After two movies, I think we can stop the jokes Avatar. Star Wars has had a difficult time of its own lately, as the series struggles to articulate a clear path and vision for what it wants. Star Wars to be. But one of the rarest elements of this malaise to show a sense of purpose has returned, just as we’ve been waiting: Cassian will find us all. Andor is second, last season on April 22. Expectations are through the roof after amazing first seasonand the little things which are hitherto despised we hope that some Andor high can support us long enough to get Lucasfilm to direct it to get the movie in theaters. —James Whitbrook

As a funeral custom of Titanfall as a video game franchise, every installment of a new sci-fi mecha game that can serve as a spiritual successor while anime-AF is like catnip to gamers around the world, is Bandai Namco. Sydnduality: Echo of Ada he can fill those shoes. Its appearance looks beautiful, its action is more, and its combat equipment that itches in the brain of all the machines to drive their giant robot through the many incoming arrows with the help of the UIs they have encountered. Metroid Prime 4: After
As we have seen and Mario, Zelda, etc., Nintendo treats its OG titles very carefully. This is why it will take almost twenty years to build a mainline Metroid game, which was announced about ten years ago. And yes, Metroid Dread it was amazing. But Prime 4 promises to be very big and very ambitious. A real return to the world of Samus Aran in a way that players have been waiting for, in some cases, their entire lives. – Germain Lussier
Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition
The Xenoblade series has become one of my favorite sets of JRPGs, but one of its best entries has been locked on the Wii U for a decade. It is the change and release of Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition on the Switch, which means that, finally, more people can experience such a passion Xenoblade which plays where the fantasy series often feels, leaning heavily on the classic genre to deliver one of Nintendo’s world-class RPGs. A mech game that keeps you going away from the giant robots on the cover of the opening half of the game, X it creates its own light-hearted narrative with an amazing world to explore, which rewards players who are willing to engage in exploration with rich environments. Last year saw a huge rise in fantasy anime and shows like Freezing: After the Journey is Over and Sweets in the Dungeon. To complete the trifecta of what has been described as three great fantasy films is the upcoming Bug Film adaptation. Witch Hat Atelier. Right now Cold and Sweets in the Dungeon they were successful in their moral and world-building activities, Witch Hat Atelier it excels at both, it’s a magic trick. In addition, the series has titles similar to the 2024 standout Look Backwhich shows the trials and tribulations of learning a new skill. After the fight Faith and Marvel, Ryan Coogler is about to show us his first horror movie. The expectation of Michael B. Jordan playing twins battling the supernatural in their hometown is great, and it turned out to be a lot of fun the first carriage hit.
