With every new year comes new projects that are set to go out into the public domain. For 2025, the most popular include Disney titles such as Silly Symphony in short The Skeleton Dance and Mickey Mouse shorts as the “Karnival Kid,” the first to show off his voice. Some of it already sounds like a horror movie—but please, no more dangerous money grabs. Give us arthouse indie Skeleton Dance.
It is also freed from the rule of the people Popeye and Tintin on original drawings. Which means that since it can be edited and shared we’ll probably see Genndy Tartakovsky goes further Popeye through this possible method. (There is, of course, already several Popeye slashers (By the way.) As interesting as music about horror, “Tiptoe Through the Tulips” will also be popular, which can be useful as a song. A deceiver a circular story.
