LG may be holding its first CES press conference, but the Korean electronics giant still can’t help but announce too many things ahead of time. As before, the news stack is a mixed bag with a few interesting additions. These plants are lamps he definitely deserves to be the last.
Product details – including pricing and availability – are scarce ahead of LG’s press release on January 6. The company has revealed two different configurations: There are “modern floor-standing models” and “a new home garden tool with nature-inspired side tables.” The product aims to integrate the care of houseplants into living room furniture.
The lamp design consists of an LED light and a 1.5-gallon water tank. This can be fixed with LG’s ThinQ software, which keeps the plant hydrated while users are out of town for a week.
There is a lot of information about “electronic devices”, although LG says, “The compact, versatile model offers a simple, fun opportunity for home gardening and shows LG’s commitment to providing the right choices for different tastes and lifestyles.”
The product will integrate with other existing grow technology from LG, including the Tiiun grow system it was launched in 2022.
