CES kicks off on January 7. The annual Las Vegas event sets the tone for the year for the electronics and automotive industry. As always, TechCrunch will be there, sniffing out the most interesting startup stories and tech giants.
If you really want to do something without paying for hotels and flights, many of the highlights of the event will be presented. Although the show officially runs from January 7 to 10, many of the biggest stories go down in front of the show, through press events. This has been established especially on January 6 “Journalists’ Day.”
Traditionally, the events are around the big names in technology, including Nvidia, Samsung, Toyota, and Sony. The good news for those who prefer to avoid mixing among the world’s 140,000 attendees is that the main press conferences and keynotes will be shown, either through company websites or CES itself.

Samsung’s CES press conference is always amazing. The Korean electronics giant usually keeps its powder dry when it comes to consumer electronics. Besides, it is expected to announce its latest smartphone – the Galaxy S25 – at the end of January.
CES 2025 will continue the tradition of the TV and consumer electronics industry. There are also the odds and ends like shopping robots that may never see the light of day. Samsung you have adopted tagline “AI for All: Every Day, Everywhere” for the show, which will premiere on January 6 at 2 pm PT/5 pm ET.

Nvidia will undoubtedly have a very big CES 2025. After that, the company has all the biggest ones today. The gaming giant has a market cap of $3.4+ trillion, mostly because of that a starting point in the ongoing AI boom. Companies like OpenAI and Meta have bought Nvidia processors by the boat, and that is unlikely to change in the new year.
Founder and CEO Jensen Huang will help kick off CES 2025 “with his leather jacket and unwavering vision,” on Nvidia.
