After wowing the home crowd with a goal against Man United from a corner during the Boxing Day game, it seems that Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Matheus Cunha could be a future target for Arsenal.

The The Red Devils lost their fourth Premier League game in their last five after another uninspiring performance.

Arsenal are looking at Matheus Cunha

Matheus Cunha lit up the match with his goal direct from the corner, the second time it happened to him Manchester United in a week.

Well, it’s no wonder Mikel Arteta would be interested in taking the player to North London.

Wolves would have to be relegated to the Championship to even consider selling.

Under Gary O’Neil, that would seem a safe bet given the way they’ve been playing, however, since Vitor Pereira took over the club, they’ve won two out of two and looked completely different.

Indeed, those six points have already taken them out of the relegation zone of the English Premier League and set a completely different outlook ahead of the January transfer window.

Matheus Cunha will only be sold if Wolves do not stay up

A window in which Pereira is sure to strengthen in key positions to ensure the Midlands-based side continue their upward trajectory.

From Arsenal’s point of view, first team refresher in January and summer it is mandatory.

The Gunners came very close to toppling Man City from the top of the Premier League, but in a season where Pep Guardiola’s side are constantly stumbling, Arne Slott’s Liverpool have taken up the baton.

Time will tell if they make Matheus Cunha one of the new additions or not.
