It doesn’t matter if you have oily skin or acne, sensitive skin or dry skin on your face, sunscreen for your face and other needs are available — and they can be on this list. Most of these are from high-end skin care companies, available at a few drugstores. I’m not talking about you need buy more expensive, but if you do you will find a better way that suits your skin type, it feels light and well connected.
Dry skin: Use a sunscreen that contains moisturizing ingredients such as aloe, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, coconut water, sunflower oil or various fruits. Sunscreen can be added on top of moisturizer or on its own, depending on how dry your skin is.
Oily skin: Avoid any sunscreen that is oil-free. You don’t want to add all the fat. Look for sunscreens that say “noncomedogenic” on the bottle, meaning they won’t clog pores.
Acne-prone skin: If you have oily skin, then you have acne prone skin. Similarly, choose sunscreens that are noncomedogenic, oil-free, fragrance-free, paraben-free and irritant-free.
Sensitive skin: Look for sunscreens with minimal ingredients and original, fragrance-free products. It also helps if the sunscreen is dermatologist tested, oil-free, paraben-free, non-irritating and non-irritating.
Whether you use a sunscreen or a product, make sure you use one with a higher SPF and skin-strengthening hyaluronic acid to protect you from the sun and soothe your skin.
