Molineux witnessed a dramatic finish as Wolves secured a 2-0 win over Manchester United thanks to two late goals.
Matheus Cunha orchestrated the victory, scoring one and assisting another as Wolves climbed further away from the relegation zone.
The first half was very tense, with Cunha a constant threat for Wolves, his skill and movement often causing problems for United’s backline.
In the 17th minute, he forced Onana after a well-executed move.
United responded with Dalot’s curling effort and Jose Sa tricked him in the 20th minute.
The Wolves continued to press, and Jorgen Strand Larsen’s header forced another Onana save in the 25th minute. Guedes then shot narrowly from distance in the 23rd minute.
The second half began with Bruno Fernandes receiving a straight red card in the 47th minute for a late tackle on Nelson Semedo.

This reduced Manchester United to ten men and significantly shifted the momentum in Wolves’ favour.
Almost immediately, Wolves thought they had taken the lead when Strand Larsen finished from close range, but the goal was ruled out for offside following a VAR review. .
The turnaround happened in the 58th minute in a spectacular way. Cunha’s corner kick eluded everyone, including Onana, and nestled into the far corner of the net.
The Manchester United goalkeeper’s protests over the foul were waved away and Wolves deservedly took a 1-0 lead. Cunha’s goal marked his third successive Premier League goal.
Manchester United tried to respond, making a number of substitutions to give their attack a new boost.
However, Wolves remained resolute in defense and continued to threaten on the counter-attack.
In the 69th minute, Strand Larsen had Goncalo Guedes available in the middle, but his pass was collected by Onana. Antony then shot just wide of United in the 71st minute.
As the clock ticked down, Manchester United pushed forward in search of an equaliser, leaving gaps at the back.
But in the final moments of stoppage time, Wolves sealed the victory with a quick counter-attack. Cunha was released behind the United defense and unselfishly slotted the ball to Hwang Hee-Chan, who calmly slotted the ball past Onana into the top corner.
