A little early holiday surprise from Boston Dynamics this week, with Santa in an Atlas power suit playing in the background. The process takes about 13 minutes new movieshowing yet another trick in the humanoid robot’s arsenal.
It is worth noting that – unlike humans – a robot that does background checks it’s not that hard than walking. That said, roboticists tend to focus on practical tasks like getting around first. Regardless, it’s interesting to see how Boston Dynamics’ new robot looks – and that it managed to keep its Santa hat on the whole time.
