Boxing Day football can prove to be one of the most entertaining periods of the Premier League season, and this year there was plenty on offer.
In the early game, Manchester City dropped more points, drawing 1-1 with Everton and extending their winless streak even further.
But five more games were on the cards at 3 p.m.
Wolves then host Manchester United before Liverpool host Leicester.
Read below how the teams fared on Thursday afternoon.
There was no classic on the south coast between Bournemouth and Crystal Palace.
The pair played out a goalless draw, a rare sight on Boxing Day.
Andoni Iraola had a chance to lead his team to the top four, but he failed to take advantage in front of the home crowd.
It was an important point for Palace, who are distancing themselves from the relegation zone.

Chelsea dropped points again under Enzo Maresco, this time at home to Fulham.
The Blues took the lead through the reliable Cole Palmer and looked to be in control of the game for the most part.
But the Cottagers weren’t planning to sit back and accept defeat, equalizing in the second half.
Harry Wilson scored again from the bench to secure an important point for Fulham in the West London derby.
And Rodrigo Muniz sent the away fans wild, scoring the winner in the 95th minute at Stamford Bridge.

Newcastle’s good run of form continued with a win over European rivals Aston Villa.
It was a quick start for the hosts who took the lead in the second minute thanks to Anthony Gordon.
Jhon Duran was sent off for Villa, albeit rather harshly, putting the visitors at a disadvantage.
Alexander Isak’s second goal ended the game, while Bruno Guimaraes also had one sent off late on.
And Joelinton’s third was the cherry on top for the Magpies.

Nottingham Forest handed Tottenham their ninth defeat of the season under Ange Postecoglou.
The hosts rarely had the ball in sight, but in the first half they recorded their chance.
Morgan Gibbs-White played through Anthony Elanga who knocked the ball past Fraser Forster for the only goal of the game.
Spurs looked toothless in attack, especially Heung-Min Son, who was a shadow for Ange Postecoglou’s men.

West Ham moved level on points with Spurs after beating Southampton at St Mary’s.
It was a spirited performance from the Saints, but they didn’t have enough in the tank to break through the Hammers.
Captain Jarrod Bowen scored the only goal of the game, but it was more than enough for the three points.
The win eases the pressure on Julen Lopetegui as West Ham move towards the top half of the table.
