Top Trump aides join group preparing to bolster support for MAGA agenda in second term


FIRST ON FOX: Two best assistants President-elect Donald Trump they join a key outside group ahead of their second term as the organization prepares to garner public support for its MAGA agenda.

One of Trump’s campaign managers al 2024 Election, Chris LaCivitaalong with his campaign’s lead pollster, Tony Fabrizio, are joining 501c4 Building America’s Future (BAF) as senior advisors.

“We are pleased to join BAF, which in the 2024 cycle was a valuable and key ally in advancing President Trump’s agenda and his candidacy,” LaCivita and Fabrizio said in a statement. “We look forward to helping guide BAF and its efforts to advance President Trump’s America First agenda so that its efforts complement and augment the efforts of the President’s team.”

The two will provide strategic advice to the group as it seeks to energize support Trump’s political proposals during his presidency.

BAF led a $45 million effort during the election to support Trump and his campaign against Vice President Kamala Harris. The group has already expressed its intention to continue promoting Trump and his administration after the election, debuting an advertising campaign in support of Pete HegsethTrump’s choice to lead the Department of Defense.

The group will play an active role, galvanizing the public in support of Trump’s policy priorities as he enters his second term.

This comes as Republicans prepare to use the budget reconciliation process to pass key Trump items, including his economic and fiscal agenda as well as some elements of border security. Through this process, Republicans need only a simple majority in the Senate, rather than 60 votes, to overcome a legislative filibuster.

However, almost all Republicans will have to be on board, as the party only has 53 seats in the new Senate.

As public support for Trump’s priorities increases, Republicans may feel some pressure to get behind certain items.

Further legislation is still awaited face an uphill battle because of the filibuster, but BAF’s work to build public support for Trump’s agenda could also pressure Democrats to join their Republican counterparts, especially those up for re-election in 2026 in red or purple states.

Trump’s other co-campaign manager, Susie Wiles, was named White House chief of staff shortly after he was elected.
