Manchester United are looking for back-to-back wins in the Premier League when they host eighth-placed Bournemouth, who are three points ahead of them, on Sunday (14:00 GMT).

Bournemouth are unbeaten in four games, although their three-game winning streak was ended by a 1-1 draw at home to West Ham on Monday.

The Cherries won 3-0 at Old Trafford last December and took the lead twice in a 2-2 draw in the second leg in April.

Marcus Rashford said he wanted a “new challenge” earlier this week and the forward was left out of United’s matchday squad for the third game in a row.

Among the six changes from Thursday’s 4-3 Carabao Cup final defeat by Tottenham, Joshua Zirkzee replaces Rasmus Hojlund in attack and full-back Tyrell Malacia makes his second league appearance of the season.

United won 2-1 against Manchester City last Sunday, when Bruno Fernandes scored a penalty in the 88th minute and Amad Diallo scored the winner in the 90th minute.

For the visitors, midfielder Tyler Adams makes his fifth start in 10 league games since returning from a back injury in mid-October.

The American international comes in for Lewis Cook as his side hunt for a third successive away win, having won at Wolves and Ipswich Town.
