Keanu Reeves’ Johnny Silverhands Is Coming to Fortnite


Fortnite it’s about to get a lot of punks. The most popular battle royale game already had big crossovers this year, and Amazing, Dana and even NBAand it is about to bring the two characters from Cyberpunk 2077 you play.

The skins of rockstar-turned-revolutionary Johnny Silverhand, played by Keanu Reeves, and the female version of the game’s protagonist, V, will be available for purchase on Monday night in the Fortnite shop, Eurogamer reports. No prices have been set, but each skin can cost 1,500 V-Bucks, or about $12, as detailed in the screenshots found by the miners of the game. There will also be weapons to buy along with skins.

The official Fortnite X blog posted about the crossover on Sunday with the message, “We’re expecting visitors from Night City.”

This will be the second time Reeves will be available to play in Fortnite. Back in 2019, the war royale game had a crossover with John Wick Franchisewhich added a skin for the title game, as well as adding an icon of Wick’s house to the map.

These crossovers with franchises, celebrities and other organizations can last a whole season, which can play up to 10 weeks, or sometimes, for just one day. Fortnite Epic Games hasn’t revealed any details about the Cyberpunk crossover yet, so it’s unclear how long the skins will be available for purchase.

While in-game purchases are what make Fortnite worth it billions of dollarsthe purchase also landed publisher Epic Games in trouble with the federal government. The company was settled by the Federal Trade Commission in 2023 over years of unsolicited purchases that affected thousands of people. Earlier this month, a salary of $245 million were sent to the affected parties as part of the settlement.
