Michael Clarke he was a huge presence in Australian cricket on and off the field. Not only that, he was a vocal critic of team management and players whenever he felt the need. Clarke raises questions about the presence of senior players in the Australian team
Questioning the intent of those currently making decisions for Australian cricket, Clarke went on to highlight the selectors’ lack of forward planning. The 43-year-old questioned the presence of some older players struggling for form.
“We have Usman Khawaja who is 38 years old and has not run. He is an older player. We have Marnus Labuschagnewho was under pressure before the series and made one decent result. Steve Smith he batted like a genius to reach a hard-fought hundred, but he was also under pressure. All but McSweeney are over 30, some in their high 30s.
