Man United and Arsenal scout RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko

Premier League clubs, especially Manchester United and Arsenal, are preparing for moves in the January transfer window.

With Man United fighting to win the Europa League and Arsenal looking to challenge for the Premier League and Champions League titles again, both clubs will be determined to strengthen their squad next year.

An area where both have struggled this season is in the forward department.

For Man United, Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee have been inconsistent, while Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus have failed to make an impact in the Premier League this season.

In order to solve these problems, they are targeting the transfer of RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko.

According to TBR FootballMan United and Arsenal scouted the Bundesliga forward during his team’s game against Bayern Munich.

Although RB Leipzig suffered a humiliating 5-1 defeat against Vincent Kompany’s Bayern Munich, Sesko managed to score and impress the clubs who were present to watch him play.

According to the report, more than 20 clubs were present in Munich to see the striker play against the German giants.

Man United and Arsenal are actively looking for new reinforcements

He wasn’t the only player on their agenda, though. Bayern’s attacking midfielder Jamal Musiala is the second player scouted.

The 21-year-old striker is in good form this season, having already scored 11 goals for the German team.

His good form has not gone unnoticed by teams around the world interested in securing the striker’s services.

He is physical and his finishing ability is brilliant, making him an ideal option for Premier League clubs to explore in the near future.

The player is often compared to Manchester City striker Erling Haaland due to their similar build, playing style and finishing quality.

Fabrizio Romano already is provided an encouraging update on Arsenal before the January window.
