Tesla is recalling nearly 700,000 vehicles for tire pressure issues


One day, another Tesla remembers. This time, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) about 700,000 Tesla vehicles are warning of a problem with the warning light in the tire pressure monitoring system as stated. .

The recall affects 2024 Cybertruck, 2017-2025 Model 3 and 2020-2025 Model Y vehicles. NHTSA says the warning lights for the tire pressure monitoring system may not be a warning light between drives.

Tesla says it will send an out-of-the-box update (OTR) to vehicles affected by the warning light problem. Owner notification letters are expected to be sent on Feb. 15, 2025.

The past year has seen many Tesla recalls and OTRs. NHTSA wrote in the last year for Cybertruck to deal with problems related to , and full comfortable beds. Tesla released an update to the airframe in June including select 2021-2024 Model 3, S and X vehicles and 2020-2024 Model Y vehicles to repair hoods that may loosen while driving if improperly closed.
