FIRST ON FOX: The senior staff of the new National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) who will help to enter President Tim Scott, RS.C.in their quest to expand the Republican majority in 2026 were revealed Thursday, and they include veterans of President-elect Donald Trump, Scott himself and former Vice President Mike Pence.
Scott, who was chosen lead the NRSC next cycle, he will be assisted by a roster of veteran GOP operatives.
Jennifer DeCasper, Scott’s chief of staff and senior adviser, will be NRSC’s next executive director. Stephen DeMaura will join her as Deputy Executive Director. He served as Pence’s 2024 presidential campaign manager and has an extensive history of working with campaigns and outside groups to win elections.

“Two years of full Republican control is good, but four years of a Trump agenda is even better,” Scott said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “Defending the majority, attacking and advancing President Trump’s agenda requires an elite team to execute at the highest levels. I’m excited about the organization we’re building, the wins we’ll bring to the table and the results that we will deliver for the American people.”

Speaker Steve Daines, R-Mont.he said in a statement. “As a trusted advisor to Senator Tim Scott, she has proven herself a master at navigating both politics and policy. Her strategic vision, relentless drive and commitment to conservative principles make her uniquely equipped to help us maintain and grow our embattled Senate majority.”

Trump alumna Cara Mason will serve as CFO. Nathan Brand joins the NRSC team as a senior advisor to Scott. The committee’s next political director will be Brendan Jaspers, who previously served as campaign director at the Club for Growth.
NRSC’s next communications director will be Joanna Rodriguez, who currently directs communications for Sen. Pete Ricketts, R-Neb. Ricketts will also assume the role of NRSC Vice President for the 2026 cycle.
Additionally, veteran Senate staffer Brennen Britton will serve as the NRSC’s director of external affairs, and the committee’s senior finance advisor will be Brittney Godoy, who has led Scott’s fundraising efforts in the past.

“It will take a team of experienced conservative operatives to ensure that President Trump has a majority in the Senate throughout his term, and that’s exactly who Senator Scott has lined up,” Ricketts said in a statement. “I’m especially excited to have a member of my senior staff, Joanna Rodriguez, join the team. She will share her experience crafting winning and conservative messages with incumbents and challengers across the map. As vice president of NRSC and Senator for the term, I am confident that this team will do whatever it takes to win races and defend President Trump’s prosperity and security agenda.”
The NRSC noted the added value of the broad range of policy experience each team member brings to the table, which they believe will help maintain and grow a Republican Senate majority to work with Trump.

In 2026, several races are expected to be competitive, including those for the seats of Sens. Jon Ossoff, D-Ga., Thom Tillis, R-N.C., and Susan Collins, R-Maine.
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., has made an aggressive case to her fellow Democrats to let her take on the role of chair of the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee for the same cycle. His ability to effectively speak to voters in purple areas has been central to his argument, something he says Democrats need to do.
