New hard drives based on the promised long-term magnetic resonance (HAMR) technology are here. said that a new product page appeared on Seagate’s website to announce the new product (HDD) with a 3TB disk with three times the capacity per terabyte compared to other hard drives.
The new hard drives come from Seagate’s new and is its first HDD to use HAMR. HAMR refers to a magnetic storage method in which the same heat is applied to the disk during writing, which allows for smaller areas and more space on the platter.
