Ho, Ho, Ho, Return of the Living Dead to Rise Again!

We’ve had quite a few of them zombie franchise in the past decade, but one that hasn’t been seen for a while is Return of the Living Dead films. The last film dropped in 2005, but things seem to have changed when a new film was announced for 2023. Luckily for fans, the series is returning next year, just in time for the film’s 40th anniversary.

After a while teaser images On Friday, the studio released a teaser for the next movie, which is also titled Return of the Living Dead. Instead of a reboot as originally believed, it continues the original film: set two years later in the winter of 1985, Tarman’s zombie has returned and is looking to wreak havoc in an unnamed town in Pennsylvania where the new film is set. Living Dead said we shouldn’t expect any returning characters from the first movie, given their “horror” twists, but the teased audience will “be welcomed back into the dark, adulterous, disgusting, world-shattering Trioxin they first encountered.”

First of all Return of the Living Dead it focused on a zombie-infested town that suddenly rose up after a poisonous gas reawakened all of its corpses. In a press release, director/writer Steve Wolsh teased the teaser by revealing that it was based on real-life events and on location, and that the cemetery Tarman walks through was built to resemble the Resurrection Cemetery in the first film. “Using our high-quality anamorphic lenses, we captured snow drifting across the night sky, giving it an incredible visual effect,” he said. “It’s going to upset people to see a whole movie made like this.”
