CD Projekt Red surprised us when it dropped cinematic trailer for The Witcher 4 at The Game Awards, revealing Ciri as the new protagonist. Amidst all this excitement, some fans of the show also noticed that Geralt’s adopted son of Rivia seems to be sounding very different than before, not least in the last few years. In words to TheGamerCD Projekt Red confirmed that Ciri has been replaced. Although previously voiced by Jo Wyatt, Ciara Berkeley took over the role.
“Ciara Berkeley was cast as Ciri The Witcher 4 Cinematic Reveal Trailer,” a spokesperson for CD Projekt Red said TheGamerand later added that Berkeley voice Ciri in the full game too. “Ciara is a talented actress who wowed us with her passion and singing ability, and in this movie we hope she brings Ciri to life in a way that’s believable and exciting for fans of the show.” So there it is.
