Manchester United scored two late goals to win against rivals Manchester City at the Etihad.
It was another miserable night for the Premier League side who took the lead in the first half.
Josko Guardiol rose to the occasion and headed home Kevin De Bruyne’s deflected cross in what had been a poor game up to that point.
The quality didn’t get much better, but United later made sure it was entertaining.
Amad Diallo latched on to Matheus Nunes’ loose pass back to goalkeeper Ederson and the Portugal international latched onto him as he tried to make amends for his mistake.
Bruno Fernandes stepped in and coolly converted the goal for the resulting penalty, and just a few moments later everything was terrible.
Diallo was again at the heart of the action, flicking the ball past Ederson and sliding home to give United a shock three points.

City dominated the early stages of the game, enjoying the lion’s share of possession.
The turning point came in the 36th minute when Guardiol rose the most and scored after a deflected cross from De Bruyne.
It was a deserved lead for City, who threatened in a poor first half.
Despite City’s dominance, neither team created many clear-cut chances and United failed to hit the back of the net before the break.
The second half began with City continuing to control the game, but failed to capitalize on their dominance.
Erling Haaland went close but the visitors stayed in contention, buoyed by City’s inability to break the game down.
As the clock ticked down, United were getting into the game and asking questions of City’s defence.

The turning point came in the 86th minute when a critical error by Nunes saved United.
Nunes’ low pass allowed Amado to dive, and although his first touch took him wide, the midfielder recovered the ball to beat the United winger.
Referee Michael Oliver did not hesitate to award a penalty. Captain Fernandes jumped in and calmly put the ball into the bottom corner and leveled the score at 1:1.
With the momentum firmly on their side, United sensed an opportunity for an unlikely victory.
Just four minutes later, in stoppage time, Lisandro Martinez delivered a precise high pass over City’s back line.
Amad showed great composure to slide the ball past the onrushing Ederson before slotting it into the net despite pressure from Guardiola.
The away fans erupted as United took an incredible 2-1 lead.
The win boosts United’s spirits and gives Ruben Amorim’s side a significant boost as they look to bounce back from a poor run of form.
Meanwhile, City will rue missed opportunities and go on to win just one in 11.
