OpenAI has published many of Elon Musk’s emails if that’s what you want to read


OpenAI in the form of long-term emails, texts and legal documents, to show that protecting OpenAI from becoming a for-profit company goes against what they wanted in 2017. In fact, OpenAI provides more evidence that the former co-founder wanted AI to become a for-profit company and generate profits. he is the CEO.

You’ll have to read the whole blog to learn more (and get an insight into how billionaires send emails) but the bottom line is that in 2017, Musk and OpenAI understood that non-profits needed to be profitable. “promote his work” and appear to benefit from the public’s earnings from the organization you play one-on-one. According to OpenAI, Musk proposed a new structure where he would “have full control over the company,” which OpenAI disputed. This led to disagreements between Musk’s leadership and OpenAI, and he eventually left the nonprofit group in 2018. Musk’s AI startup, which is a direct competitor to OpenAI, was launched in 2023.

It’s pretty clear what OpenAI is trying to do here. Musk first in March 2024 over the company’s dealings with Microsoft and the belief that it violated its unprofitable reputation. He before long and emails that say Musk wants OpenAI to partner with Tesla or make him CEO. The new OpenAI blog expands on all of that with new features and seems set to accomplish just that.
