Meanwhile, Universal Studios they release The Grinch for Grinchmas and other unexpected winter fun at Super Nintendo World. Halloween happens year-round in Burbank, CA—home of the WB and Disney—which has Magnolia Street lined with kitschy shops that have become a destination for horror fans, including the famous Mystic Museum and Halloweentown. New to the group is the Horror Boodega, which hosts spooky tricks and performances throughout the year. This week is celebrating Friday the 13th, of course!
At Grinchmas, you can get into the Grinchy spirit and retell the Seuss classic with Cindy-Lou Who, the legendary Martha May, and the Grinch himself (their chemistry is always off the charts). That’s right: at Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood you can find holiday decorations including these Mario and Luigi snowmen. We’d like more of this, maybe “falling” down – though that would make things so slippery that the aliens would need a 1-Up for help. There are also some really cute Nintendo accessories around, with merchandise inspired by them. We love the Snowman Mario Ugly Christmas Sweater, which let’s be real isn’t that bad.
One of the best things about the Holiday Party is the presence of Pixar favorites That’s rightand having it represents a great Mexican culture in Southern California. It helps transition from Dia De Los Muertos to the winter holiday and That’s rightendless and interesting themes of family. This year, for the beloved film to be part of the holiday beyond November, Miguel is shown with his guitar together with live mariachi, singing songs about how we always keep the loved ones we lost, and their memory.
