Prime Video has offered an early holiday episode to its subscribers — the Christmas video Red One.
The passive and positive streaming audience can watch the performances of Chris Evans and Dwayne Johnson in less than a month of its premiere. The PG-13 film is about the kidnapping of Santa, directed by JK Simmons. The fate of Christmas comes down to Evans’ evil hunter and Johnson’s North Pole security leader. The shoot also includes Lucy Liu, a talking bear and villains deep in horror stories.
In addition to Red One, Prime Video’s new holiday collection includes the musical The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland (also streaming on Hulu), the comedy Jack in Time for Christmas, Jeff Dunham’s Scrooged-Up Holiday Special and last year’s original.
