This week horror fans will find out the first carriage on one of the most anticipated models: 28 years laterThe next long-awaited part in Danny Boyle is Alex Garland‘s zombie saga. It shows a world still in post-apocalyptic chaos years after the dead started walking, and it looks terrifying. But one quick shot in the trailer got sharp-eyed viewers talking: that was it 28 Days Later star and new Oscar winner Cillian Murphy returns as Jim… as a near corpse and a skeleton?
It seems that no Murphy, who is the executive producer 28 years later but it does not have to be guaranteed to appear on the screen (although the room is closed even without him: Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jack O’ Connell, Alfie Williams, and Ralph Fiennes). According to the GuardianThe zombie in the trailer is played by Angus Neill—and the publication tracked down an art dealer and show to get the full story.
Apparently, Neill “spotted talent with Boyle, who was impressed by his unique appearance.” Passing through model profile associated with the Guardian, Neill has a naturally weak form – you guessed it Murphy he had sharp cheekbones?—so you can see Boyle looking at him and thinking “zombie!” While there are obviously prosthetics and special makeup involved, Neill creates a great canvas for the ghoul to portray. (Sony or whoever is involved in the production 28 years later he never said anything about Neill’s position.)
Speaking to the Guardian, Neill said, “Danny told me that he always thought of me. So we met, we talked, and I agreed to take part … He has a special ability to seduce you, and working with him in this film was very interesting.”
Here’s the film’s synopsis: “It’s been almost thirty years since a deadly virus escaped from a military facility, and now, still in a merciless containment zone, some have found ways to live among the infected. One such group of survivors lives on a small island connected to the mainland by a single heavily guarded road. When one of the group leaves the island to the dark realm, they discover secrets, wonders, and dangers that have not only changed the infected but also other survivors.”
Jim Murphy he can appears in 28 Years Later –It would be consistent with the continuation of the story, and it would be very relevant to the first film, which was released in 2002 and made Murphy famous. However, it is 28 years later to make like the first in a new trilogythere’s more time to see what Jim has been up to (probably, killing more zombies) since we last saw him.
