Rangers 1-1 Tottenham: Kulusev’s strike saves Spurs


Dejan Kulusevski came off the bench to equalize for Tottenham, while Ange Postecoglou’s return to Glasgow provided an exciting Europa League spectacle.

It took Rangers just 82 seconds into the second half to take the lead, captain James Tavernier playing a fine ball to the far post where Igamane was free to deflect a left-footed shot over the bar for his fifth goal in as many games.

The equalizer came when Solanke ran from the right and crossed the ball, James Maddison wanted a penalty because he was challenged, but it was played for Kulusevski to shoot.

Forster then came to the rescue with his wonder save – and Dessers also had a shot in the offside.

Spurs have games against Hoffenheim and Elfsborg, while Rangers will face Manchester United and Union Saint-Gilloise.
